About Me

From the time I was a little girl, rubbing my mother’s forehead to soothe her headache, to the present day, I’ve  been fascinated by the power of human touch to stimulate healing. I started with massage therapy and over the years I’ve studied many different therapies. I like to work intuitively, mixing and matching my knowledge and skills to best meet the needs of the individual I’m working with.

I believe the human body has amazing self healing capabilities which we have somehow forgotten about. This might explain the placebo effect and also highlights the enormous affect our thoughts and emotions can have on our health and wellbeing. I love helping clients to resolve emotional issues as well as physical health problems to bring about lasting beneficial change.

I’m particularly interested in supporting the digestive system and the numerous conditions that can occur when our digestion is not functioning correctly. From indigestion, constipation and IBD to seemingly unrelated conditions such as headaches, backache and joint pain.

I’m fairly quiet, calm and a good listener. I’m overweight and have a number of other flaws so I’m very far from perfect and I don’t expect perfection from my clients either. I’m not here to judge but to help my clients to achieve their personal health and wellness goals.

Away from therapies I like singing, keeping fit and playing golf. The best I can say about my abilities in these pursuits is that I’m a work in progress.
